Twilight/ New Moon Inspired Inexpensive party favors or prizes

While looking for items for prizes and party favors for last Spring's Twilight party I found these items at a Michael's craft store. They would work for any Twilight party (regardless of the book).
Shown in the picture is a red/black damask vinyl zippered bag. It's really cute and could actually hold quite a bit inside. Also the black/white bag. Just a few months ago I found the white/black notebook with red plastic spiral binding. Also... I found the black/white note memo cube. (If you want the blue ribbon is easily removable.).
Each of these items were $1.00 a piece! You can't beat that. If I were giving them out the bags would be filled with black, red, and white candies. And I'd probably alter the notebook somehow and place in a basket on the tables for the ladies to take one on their way home. Both the notebook and memo cube actually fit into the bag... so that would be a $3. favor plus some candy.

Twilight and New Moon Notebooks:
I am in a boutique selling handcrafted items with other women in town. I bought a few random notebooks that have the red/white and black color scheme and then I embellished with cardstock, ribbon, photos from the movie, and fun quotes. I have made about 20 to sell.... they might be added work to make your own for a party to give out as favors or prizes... but I think your guests would love them.

CAN you come to our party?

I found this fun invitation from Somewhat Simple that would be great for inviting couples to a dinner party. She shows how she used the can for a little girl Princess party. But imagine the possibilities with an adult party!
For a Mexican themed party you could fill the can with squares colorful confetti and a little maraca.
For an Italian themed party you could fill it with colorful Italian pasta.
For an Asian dinner party you could put some fortune cookies.
I could go on and on. Not to mention what cute table decorations these would make and then send them home with each couple or guest as a party favor!

There are so many fun things you could do with this! Thanks Stephanie!
For instructions how to do this go to her blog at www.somewhatsimple.blogspot.com

I
found these on Etsy and totally know that I could make them myself. It's patterned paper cut to almost matchbook size with a single packaged mint attached with a brad and tucked in.

Gift Baskets

Imagine how much MORE memorable your party will be if you have gift baskets for guests either to take with them as they leave or to enjoy looking at through out the party. These baskets could be small (see immediately below) or large as show further below. Favors should follow the party theme.
Set out little takeout boxes or other small containers that guests can use to make a take-home treat filled with their own favorite treats.
The above Welcome pouch is a great idea for overnight guests or a party to welcome new friends to the neihborhood or to your church or civic group. You could include bottled waters, bag of chips, informational literature, and a small notebook with pen.
This gift basket would be fun to give after a "Blast to the Past" party. A "Blast to the Past" party would have decor from many decades, music from all the decades, and a retro decor. Even a stand up Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Night Rider or Erik Estrada. Greet guests with a gift basket of old-fashioned treats like kettle chips, lemonade, and cherry sours. “Midnight Snack” idea pictured above - features mini bottles of milk and individually wrapped donuts in a takeout box personalized with a custom label. (Boxes and labels available at myownlabels.com). This same concept would work well as a party favor for all sorts of occasions - from birthday parties to coroporate events - and just imagine all the different possibilities for the treat combo it holds: bagels & cream cheese with mini bottles of o.j. or chilled Starbucks Frappuccinos, cookies & milk, energy drinks & trail mix or energy bars… the list goes on! P.S.- the milk is Horizon Organic milk found at: http://www.horizonorganic.com/products/milk/single-serve.html

Party Favor Ideas from myownlabels.com

Hot Cocoa mix with bagged marshmallows is a great favor for a Christmas in July party, any winter holiday party, or the Breakfast Dinner Party.

Hot Cocoa Mix
• 1/2 cup cocoa
• 1 cup sugar
• 3 cups instant dry milk
• dash salt

Sift 3 times.
To serve: In a mug combine 3-4 heaping teaspoons of mix with boiling water.

Package hot cocoa mix in glass jars or tins which are available online at Specialtybottle.com, or Kerr canning jars from your local grocery.

This is another idea that could be done with a breakfast dinner party as a favor:

Maple Syrup is a sweet way for guests to remember you by. This would also make a cute invitation to a 'Breakfast' Dinner Party. Maple Syrup for a Dinner Party where you eat favorite Breakfast foods. To make this favor you need maple syrup, favor hang tags and ribbon.

These CD's could be styled for any party theme!!! Romantic dinner music to take home as a reminder. Music hits from any decade if you are having an 80's or a 50's party. Some great Salsa music for a latin party. Andrea Bocceli if you have an Italian Dinner party.

At www.myownlabes.com you can get a recipe to make your own cilantro pasta for a favor. To make it easier. Buy each guest a small bag of 12-16 oz. spaghetti. Tie a large red (or the color of your Italian Dinner party) and attach a hanging label to the bow thanking guests for coming and put a date on it somewhere subtly. You could also print your own labels on the computer and stick to pasta packaging.
