Maggie's New Moon Party Idea Board

This blog post is where I am gathering all my ideas for my upcoming party in a couple weeks.
Invites:
As shown in the posts from a couple days ago. They will be hand delivered with a personal note written on the back of each one. A few will ask the guest to bring an appetizer to share instead of a main dish.

Food:

Potluck Italian. Or not. I want the main dishes to be pastas.... and the appetizers can be anything. One friend in particular makes these delicious bacon wrapped water chestnuts. To die for.  I think that I will provide the drinks and desserts. Here is a great dessert. I can bake red velvet cupcakes and frost. Then cupcake topper will be charactor names from the book.

Tablesetting:
I love the red ribbon tied around the stem of the glass.

Room Decor:
Red paneled fabric draped along stairs and by windows, Posters- Rob Pattinson, New Moon Book Cover, Edward and Bella, play Twilight soundtrack in the background, and keep this sign on the door with some bandaids in an attached bag for ladies to use if necessary...

Activities:
Alphabet game, Trivia Quiz, Contest- Most like a New Moon charactor Costume Competition and Cutest T-shirt Competition (with prizes)

Party Favor:
Licorice in a bag to take to the movie!
